It is rude for the Democratic Front it is untrue that Monstat claims that their and the Tax Administration's data on average earnings differ because they take into account earnings for which taxes and contributions have not been calculated. In order, as they say, to debunk them, they cite data from January 2018, assuming that taxes and contributions for those earnings were paid in the past 15 months
"In January 2018, we had 160.793 employees for whom, I repeat, taxes and contributions were calculated until May 2019, 437, and the average net salary was 2018 euros. According to Monstat, that salary in January 511 was XNUMX euros," said Milutin Đukanović from DF.
Đukanović says that it is absurd that employees who do not pay taxes and contributions have the highest earnings, because these companies are in big trouble.
"It turns out that the worst companies have the highest salaries. Enough about one brutal lie that is served and with which citizens are tried to be convinced that they don't live the life they do," added Đukanović.
In the meantime, they also announced themselves from the Tax Administration. They say that unlike Monstat, which performs statistical analyzes according to its own methodology and in accordance with prescribed competences, they keep records with accurate data on employees.
"The Tax Administration calculates data on average earnings based on the amount of wages whose payment is reported to that institution, and not on the basis of earnings for all employees who are kept in the Central Register of Taxpayers and Insured", the Tax Administration announced.
For DF, it is not only Monstat's average salary that is disputed, but also the number of employees of 190 thousand. Đukanovic also believes that they deliberately avoid announcing the fact that in their calculation of average earnings, they do not include companies with fewer than 10 employees and whose wages are the lowest.
"The director of Monstat should be dismissed according to an urgent procedure, this is not her only mistake, she participated in the monstrous theft of the census in 2011"
That is why in the coming period, says Đukanović, they will expose the fact that the number of inhabitants in Montenegro is not what they represent it to be, as well as the number of unemployed people and the gross domestic product.
