The Agency for Nature and Environmental Protection registered much better air quality in March.
So although they mostly attribute it to favorable weather conditions that did not require heating, they do not rule out a decrease in traffic frequency as a reason either.
Anyway, nature is grateful - apart from the air, the rivers and cities are also cleaner.
We will find out very soon how long all this will last and whether we will return to our old bad habits.
