A public debate is underway on the Draft Law on Media, which, compared to the 2002 decision, foresees several newspapers. The main ones are the establishment of the Fund for Media Pluralism and the legal solution based on which journalists will be forced to reveal their sources to the court in some circumstances. In the opinion of representatives of a part of the media community, the draft is full of flaws, and the experts of the Council of Europe also pointed out its vagueness and incompleteness.
What has the Government foreseen in the new Law on Media, whether the Draft will be sent back for revision and what comments were sent by representatives of the media and the civil sector, are some of the questions that we will open in Reflektor.
Guests in the studio: Željko Rutović, assistant minister of culture for the media, Nikola Marković, member of the Working Group for the Drafting of the Law on Media and head and resp. editor of DAN and Goran Đurović NGO Media Center.
Watch "Reflektor" on Tuesday at 20 pm on TV VIjesti.
