There is no progress in the investigation into the murder of Roganović: They are not asking for international help

Two years have passed since Niko Roganović, a 66-year-old man from Novlja, was killed in the Dubrava settlement in Sacekuša, Herzegovina, and the investigators, at least officially, still have no suspect for this crime.

The fact that there are no visible developments in the investigation is not a reason for them to ask for international help to solve this case.

"The case formed on the occasion of the murder of the NR is in the investigation phase, during which several orders were passed for all necessary expert examinations and certain persons were heard as witnesses, and so far there has been no need to seek international legal assistance", according to the response of the High State Prosecutor's Office (VDT).

According to unconfirmed information, investigators believe that the executors have been monitoring Roganović's movements for a longer time.

That night, at least two people waited for his arrival from the city about a hundred meters from the house where he lived.

When they noticed that he was approaching in his blue "Opel", they fired shots at him, five of which hit him.

After the shooting, Roganović was immediately transferred to the hospital in Meljini, where the doctors only pronounced him dead.

It is believed that Roganović is only one of the almost 50 victims of the war between the "cokemen" and the "scumbags" that has been going on for five years, more precisely since 2014, when a load of cocaine disappeared in Valencia.

It is believed that Niko Roganović paid with his head because the "Skaljarci" perceived him as a member of the "Kavak" clan, and because he was a relative of the "Kavka" leader Slobodan Kašćelan, his murder was perceived as a strong blow to the opposing criminal group.

Also killed was the father of Duško Roganović, who was close to the "cafes", and who was seriously injured three months earlier, in April of the same year, in the explosion of a bomb planted under his car.

Even that case has not been solved so far.

It was only established that the explosive device was activated by a mobile phone and that several people participated in the attack, which was planned months ago.

The elder Roganović was also the uncle of Vladimir Roganović, a high-ranking member of the "Kavaka group", who was liquidated at the end of December last year in Vienna.
