We remind you of some of the very successful programs, which are implemented with the financial support of the Employment Office, and which have made it possible for people with disabilities to find work.
During the last year, unemployed people in Montenegro found work through the public works programs "Care of the elderly" and "Personal assistant", which are financed by the Employment Agency. Through these two programs, for a fixed period of up to four months, 529 unemployed persons from the records of the Employment Service got a job. We remind you of two stories from the field, which talk about those who got the chance to work, but also those who use their services.
One of the programs that the Institute is particularly proud of is the state's public campaign "Let's hire natives - let Montenegro work". The Institute believes that this campaign has contributed to increasing the interest of domestic workers to work in seasonal jobs. More than 11 seasonal workers were hired in Montenegro last year. The story that best illustrates this campaign last year comes from Plantaž.
The last program in the last year, which was implemented by the Employment Office, and which was of great interest, was the Program for the allocation of grants from three to 7,5 thousand euros. It is money that will be allocated in three one-year cycles to more than 400 beneficiaries of grants for self-employment, i.e. more than 400 new businesses. The Institute continues with this program this year as well.
