The Clinical Center and the health system of Montenegro are ready for all challenges, including this one, said the director of the Clinical Center of Montenegro, Dr. Jevto Eraković.
"Every year we prepare for flu epidemics, this is a virus that is similar to something a little more infectious, there is no need to create panic and drama, but to approach the problems absolutely realistically," said Eraković.
He also said that KCCG is ready for the eventual importation of the virus.
"We are ready in terms of personnel, organization and equipment. The citizens of Montenegro can be sure of the ability and quality of work of KCCG", said Eraković.
"We have prepared 4 rooms of the infectious disease clinic, of course if there is a need, we are taking three more stages of development of the action plan, so that at that moment the complete infectious disease clinic would be in the function of treating coronavirus", Eraković added.
As he announced, "in case of infection at this moment in KCCG, they have enough masks, wards, gels for disinfection, and in accordance with the situation we will assess whether additional procurement is needed".
Eraković reminded that the ban on visitors still continues in KCCG.
