How are classes conducted for students of JU Resource Center for Education and Training "1. June", the director of this institution, Željko Darmanović, spoke in the Colors of the Morning.

"Based on the recommendations of the Ministry of Education, our colleagues use the portal for inclusive education, and teaching content has been prepared for children with developmental disabilities," announced Darmanović.

As he said, for children with developmental disabilities, the best work is within the resource center, but the circumstances are such that everyone adapts, so the challenge is not only online teaching, but also creativity in approaching children and adapting the content.

"In agreement with the parents, each teacher and special education teacher sends material via e-mail or viber, based on which the parents help the children and return the completed tasks to the teachers," said Darmanović and pointed out that the cooperation with the parents is excellent.

He notes that parents acted as co-therapists in these circumstances and that their role is very important, but also that children who use therapy take part in the implementation of online classes.

"When all this is over, we will have the opportunity to work with children at school again, and we hope that will happen soon," said Darmanović.
