NATO's Science for Peace and Security Program marked its sixty-year anniversary last year. On the occasion of this important jubilee, in today's magazine "Geopolitika" we look back at his history and highlight his main achievements.
In its early years, the program focused on strengthening scientific networks within the Alliance, and today it is about strengthening security and promoting peace, through the joint practical cooperation of allies and partners. There is also a focus on key priority areas such as cyber defence, counter-terrorism, hybrid warfare, resilience and capacity building with all NATO partners.
