The situation in Novi Pazar is no longer so dramatic, it seems as if the situation is improving.
As of yesterday afternoon, 107 patients with a severe clinical picture were hospitalized, and three died. The general hospital has been turned into a Covid hospital, Katarina Radović, a journalist from Radio Television Novi Pazar, said in "Colors of the Morning".
"On the third of June, there were only 2 patients in the Covid hospital in Novi Pazar and a few in the infectious department. After just three days, that number jumped to 30. That's when they should have called for help right away. Over 70 medical workers fell ill and that was the biggest problem," said Radović.
Commenting on the booing of the citizens of Novi Pazar during the visit of Prime Minister Ana Brnabić and Minister of Health Zlatibor Lončara Radović said that the citizens were provoked for several reasons.
"At no time did they express their condolences to the families of those who died from Covid-19, then they stated that the hospital is the most equipped, and it is known that this is not the case, because donations and oxygen arrive every day," said Radović.
