In a guest appearance on "Morning Colors" on Vijesti Television, Professor Milanko Damjanović from the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering said that electric scooters should be excluded from traffic until the rules and method of their use are defined by legislation.

"I'm not in favor of electric scooters. There is no definition and way to use it and on which surfaces, as well as a number of other rules, both from structure to technical correctness," said Damjanović.

He says that they are dangerous, especially for the sidewalk, and that Montenegro is dealing with this problem, and he asks everyone to be patient, because legal solutions will be offered soon.

"Many states define some rules on the use of electric scooters, and later it turns out that this is not a good solution. Our country is dealing with this problem," said Damjanović.

He points out that an age limit for children should be prescribed.

"Children are always ready to investigate, and it can be disastrous for them and other road users. It would be useful to suppress them until the legal basis is defined," said Damjanović.

Popular "gambler" Srđan Dido Stanojević says that he has been riding an electric scooter for a year.

"It's economical. I don't use fuel, I don't pay for parking," said "Kumara".

Dido adds that he believes that children under the age of 18 should not ride an electric scooter.
