Vujošević: I will request that the working hours of catering establishments be extended and that four people can sit at the table

In response to the meeting of restaurateurs and the National Coordination Body for Infectious Diseases (NKT), restaurateur Igor Vujošević told "Boje jutra" on TV Vijesti that he will ask that body to extend the opening hours of catering establishments and to allow four people to sit at a table inside and outside.

"The restaurateurs supported all NKT measures because we believe that the health of citizens is a priority. We do not agree with the latest measures that were adopted, because we believe that the focus has shifted from public gatherings to restaurateurs," said Vujošević.

He says that in the previous period, there were wage cuts and layoffs in the hospitality industry.

"It is not realistic to expect that in the midst of a drastic decline in business and the market, it will not happen. It will be much more if the measures are not changed and if subsidies from the state are not continued at least until May of next year," Vujošević pointed out.

He stressed that we have to find a measure to protect the health of citizens, and on the other hand, to enable restaurateurs to work, so that bankruptcy does not occur in catering establishments.
