Half a million euros. For that much money, as TV News unofficially learned from the top police, Petar Mujović from Nikšić agreed to kill Jovan Vukotić from Kotor, whom the police identify as one of the leaders of the Skaljar criminal clan.
Mujović was prevented in his plan yesterday in Kotor, where Vukotić was called to the premises of the police in order to collect certain information. While Vukotić was inside, Mujović was arrested in front of the police building. The news of his arrest was also confirmed by the Police Directorate, but not the information that he planned to kill Vukotić. However, the way they describe how they found him is enough to conclude that he did not plan to just walk around Kotor armed.
"The officers of the Kotor police yesterday around 15:10 and 14 minutes, near the official parking area of the Kotor Security Department, spotted a person observing the building and the parking area. This person was identified and examined by the police officers, during which a Czech zbrojovka pistol was found in his possession in illegal possession, with the striker in the rear position, ready for use. The gun has a polished factory number with a frame that contained XNUMX rounds of ammunition, as well as one round of ammunition in the barrel of the gun itself. Also, a mobile phone with crypto protection was found." , the police announced.
In the end, Mujović was detained for illegal possession of weapons because the evidence collected so far does not indicate any suspicion that he planned Vukotić's murder. However, there is operational data, which is why a detailed investigation will be conducted in this case.
Television Vijesti also learns that Mujović admitted to the police that he planned to liquidate the alleged leader of the skal gang, but defended himself by remaining silent before the competent prosecutor. He even explained to the police how he followed Vukotić for ten days and waited for an opportune moment to kill him. For the investigators, operationally, there is no doubt that Vukotić should have been a new victim of the war between the Kavački and Škaljar clans.
Their belief is supported by the fact that the suspect Mujović is the biological brother of Radovan Mujović, who, according to police data, is considered a high-ranking member of the Kavački clan. He was prosecuted this summer on suspicion of having organized a criminal group together with Vasilij Rafailović from Budva that planned several murders, including Budva's Marko Ljubiša-Kan and Goran Slovinić.
Radovan Mujović himself was on the list to be shot, according to the prosecution's evidence, of the criminal group of Ranko Radulović from Nikšić, which is accused of being closely connected to the Škaljar clan.
