The investigating judge of the Basic Court of Kotor, Spiro Pavićević, ordered Petar Mujović from Nikšić to be detained for up to 30 days.

The prosecutor charged Mujović with the criminal offense of illegal possession of a weapon.

The investigation is ongoing because Mujović was arrested armed two days ago in front of the police station where Jovan Vukotić from Kotor was, identified as one of the leaders of the Skaljar clan.

Twenty-year-old Petar Mujović from Nikšić, who, according to operative data, planned the day before yesterday to liquidate the alleged leader of the Skaljar criminal clan, Jovan Vukotić, is now in the Investigation Prison.

As the investigative judge of the Basic Court of Kotor Spiro Pavićević told "Vijesti" television, after the hearing, he ordered the suspect to be detained for up to 30 days for illegal possession of weapons. Judge Pavićević did not want to talk in detail about the hearing itself, nor about the way in which Mujović defended himself.

As TV "Vijesti" has learned, this man from Nikšić, in the presence of his lawyer, briefly said that he admits to committing a criminal offense, that is, that he illegally carried a gun with him on Thursday, allegedly for personal protection. He did not want to answer the questions.

Despite the fact that Mujović is being charged with an offense under the jurisdiction of the basic prosecutor's office, the TV "Vijesti" interlocutor points out that the investigation into this case continues and that information is being collected about who drew Vukotić's target. This is also the reason why the case is being investigated in detail by members of the special police department.

Suspect Mujović was arrested the day before yesterday, near the Kotor police building.

The source of "Vijesti" from the investigation points out that members of the police noticed a young man with suspicious behavior, after which they monitored him both through video surveillance and by visiting the field.

When they saw that, as our interlocutor explains, the young man was only walking around the police building where Vukotić was at that moment, it was clear to them what his intention was.

They approached him, took his ID, and then searched him and found a Czech rifle with a bullet in the barrel and an encrypted phone. He did not resist the arrest, adds the same interlocutor.

Not long after, he admitted to the inspectors that he had planned to kill Vukotić, and an examination of his "crypt" made it clear that the liquidation was ordered through text messages.

For now, the identities of the persons with whom Mujović corresponded are not known.

Petar Mujović is the biological brother of Radovan Mujović, who, according to police operative data, is a high-ranking member of the Kavačac criminal clan.
