In the investigation of the murders of Alan Kožar from Baran and Damir Hadžić from Užičan, some progress has been made. This is claimed by the interlocutor of Television Vijesti, explaining that Montenegrin investigators are in daily communication with their Greek colleagues and the cooperation has resulted in concrete results that I cannot talk about now.
The representative of the murdered Kožar's family, Damir Lekić, who recently visited the special investigators with his sister and wife, confirmed to TV Vijesti that there is progress in the investigation.
"And that's where the inspectors informed us, gave us notifications about what is being done, how far the investigation in Greece has come. We were told that there is certain evidence, certain data, certain indications, certain facts that have been collected and they are cooperating at that level and that there are certain developments in the investigation now," said Lekić.
The well-informed interlocutors of TV Vijesti add that Montenegrin investigators will visit their Greek colleagues in the shortest period of time, after which they can be expected to publish the results they have achieved. The family's attorney also expects that the identity of the killers will be revealed.
"I sincerely expect, but let's not forget one very important position that it is a complex investigation, that it is a very serious crime, that it is a crime that was not committed by one person but by several people, probably in an organized way," Lekić said. .
After the liquidation of Kožar and Hadžić, the Greek authorities expressed concern that the Montenegrin mafia had found refuge in Greece. They reminded that Greece had already been the site of a bloody confrontation between Kotor's criminal clans in January, when Stevan Stamatović and Igor Dedović, who were operationally considered to be the leaders of the "Skaljar clan", were liquidated in Athens.
Interlocutors of Television Vijesti from the security circles point out that Montenegrin investigators are actively participating in solving this crime, as well as other liquidations that took place outside of Montenegro, which are believed to be the result of conflicts between Kotor criminal groups.
