The year that is coming to an end, which started with rallies against the Law on Freedom of Religion, was followed by the arrest of three portal editors for publishing fake news. At the invitation of the Government, the prosecutor's office and the police reacted quickly and suspected them of causing panic and riots via the Internet.
However, as TV Vijesti has learned, the prosecution rejected the criminal charges against Dražen Živković and Gojko Raičević, because there is no doubt that they committed a criminal offense, while the decision in the case of Anđela Đikanović has not yet been made.
Action for Human Rights welcomes the decision of the prosecutor's office and states that the arrest should not have happened, especially since it is a criminal offense that they consider to be unconstitutional.
