The people of Žabljak prevented the felling

As they promised a month ago, the residents of the village of Bosača, the restaurateurs of Žabljak and the citizens gathered around the initiative "You won't be able to do it anymore" today prevented the cutting of the forest along the very border with the Durmitor National Park.

Neither the police who assisted, nor representatives of the Forestry Administration could convince them that logging was legally possible.

It was agreed that there will be no cutting in the mentioned part until the authorities decide on the criminal complaint filed by the citizens recently against the Forestry Administration and the Durmitor National Park.
