Farmers Jovanka and Stojan Blečić from Nikšić settlement Kočani are outraged by the way in which the support for the improvement of the livestock fund implemented by the Ministry of Agriculture was implemented.

They claim that instead of high-conceived two-year-old heifers that cost 2.300 euros per head, five months late they received bad, high-risk heifers whose future they fear.

Veterinarian Nebojša Gorašević confirms their suspicions, while the owner of the company that imported the heifers to the Blečićs, Bogdan Sjekloća, claims that he fully complied with the agreement and delivered quality heads.

When in February of last year she signed up for the invitation of the Ministry of Agriculture for the improvement of livestock, with the hope of increasing the number of head by five more, Jovanka Blečić says that she had no idea that she would be deceived.

Jovanka and her husband Stojan claim that the Ministry of Agriculture, which subsidized them with 1.000 euros per imported head, obliged them to choose between two companies the one that would bring their heads from abroad.

Veterinarian Nebojša Gorašević also doubts that the Blečić family did not get what they paid for and the cattle they were supposed to receive according to the regulations of the Ministry of Agriculture.

The owner of "Bogmerac" Bogdan Sjekloća, who imported the heifers, did not want to appear on camera, but in a telephone conversation he rejected Blečić's accusations.

He claims that until now they have imported hundreds of purebred heifers for producers all over Montenegro, and that they have not had similar problems.

He justifies the delay in delivery by the epidemic and claims that all the cows that were delivered to the Blečićs were heifers from 4,5 to 6,5 months pregnant, and that it was a high-milk variety.

Blečić, however, do not give up.

Neither the former Minister of Agriculture, Milutin Simović, during whose mandate the Blečićs applied for pregnant heifers, nor the current Minister of Agriculture, Aleksandar Stijović, did not answer TV Vijesta's questions about the problems of these farmers, even after 10 days.
