New details in the case of three illegally built slats in the Zabjelo neighborhood of Podgorica, which is why the tenants of the building on which these slats abut have been protesting for months.
Despite the valid decision of the former Ministry of Sustainable Development and Tourism (MORT) on the demolition of these buildings, the Podgorica cadastre registered the buildings of the investor "PS Gradnja".
However, the Ministry of Spatial Planning and Urbanism claims that this does not invalidate the demolition decision made several years ago. It is not yet known when that will finally happen.
In the meantime, the number of tenants in slats is growing, but their neighbors who oppose illegal construction are not allowed in front of the cameras.
Although the decision on the demolition of three illegally built slats in the Zabjelo settlement in Podgorica is in force, the Regional Unit of the Real Estate Administration in Podgorica registered these "PS construction" objects in the real estate cadastre.
We were informed about this by the tenants of the building on which the slats literally rest. They have been protesting for some time because their living space is threatened by the construction of these buildings.
However, the tenants did not want to appear in front of our camera because, as they told us, they fear for their safety due to the constant threats they receive.
The Secretariat for Spatial Planning of the Capital City told us that the registration of real estate is not within their jurisdiction, and that a decision on the legalization of buildings at this location is yet to be made, after the investor "PS Gradnja" complained about the initial rejection of the request for legalization.
From the urban and construction inspection of the Ministry of Spatial Planning and Urbanism, they maintain the position that the illegally built slats must be demolished, and that in fact nothing has changed.
"Registration of the objects in question in the real estate cadastre does not release the investor doo "PS Gradnja" from the obligation to act according to the decision on the demolition of the buildings, more precisely the status of the decisions on demolition is that they are still enforceable and that they are still on the list of planned executions, as priority for the administrative execution of the decision on demolition through the executor company LLC "Protection of Space of Montenegro" to which the same decisions were given for execution", announced the Urban Planning and Construction Inspection of the Ministry of Urbanism.
And the decision on the demolition of lamellas B and D was made in 2018, and in 2019 also on the demolition of lamella C. In the meantime, these lamellas are moving in a lot.
That's why the question remains - when will the city secretariat finally declare about legalization and the inspection will move from words to deeds?
By the way, today a warning before the initiation of criminal proceedings was sent to the address of Television Vijesti, together with the draft of the criminal report "PS Gradnje" against Television Vijesti. Television, as well as the portal and newspaper Vijesti, as well as the author of earlier reports on this case, are charged with causing panic and disorder, along with accusations of publishing incorrect information, but it is not stated what exactly is incorrect.
