"Brave heart" to healthcare workers from red covid zones

Doctor Albina Spahić (KCCG) and nurse Bilja Petković (KCCG) received the "Brave Heart" award on behalf of healthcare workers from the red covid zones.

This award is given every year on the anniversary of the beginning of the broadcasting of the TV News program for an exceptional contribution to society.

Last year, the winner was Hajriz Brčvak, the previous Bar "Cypressari", while three years ago, the "Brave Heart" was awarded to Tatjana Vukićević from Nikšić, who donated a kidney to her fellow citizen Nikola Mijušković.

The award was given to the representatives of healthcare workers from the red covid zones by the chief and responsible editor of TV Vijesti, Tatjana Ašanin.

"The previous 15 months were especially challenging because of the covid epidemic. The biggest burden fell on health workers, and among them the biggest burden was borne by those who were on the front line in the red covid zone. They risked their own health to save ours, they were a support in the 15 months behind us and Vijesti television wants to show its gratitude to those people, and at the same time, in this modest way, invite all citizens to continue helping those people, by all adhering to the measures and by getting vaccinated," she said is Ashanin.

She said that TV Vijesti started broadcasting the program on May 12, 2008.

Since the beginning of the official measurements conducted by Ipsos and Telekom Crne Gore - Vijesti at half past seven is the most watched news show in Montenegro, and for the last two and a half years TV Vijesti has been the most watched TV channel in the country.

In the past month, on the list of the most watched TV programs - the first five were TV Vijesti.

According to all surveys of citizens' trust in the media, TV Vijesti takes a convincing first place.

"The team of media professionals working at Vijesti Television is responsible for the enormous success of the only private domestic TV station, as well as the founders who 13 years ago dared to support independent and professional journalism in the TV format. Unfortunately, before us, no commercial TV station in Montenegro Gori did not manage to celebrate her 13th birthday, which speaks of enormously difficult conditions and an unsettled media market. This makes our success greater, but we got to it the hard way. I will remind you that for two and a half years since its foundation, TV Vijesti has been without a national frequency by will authorities at the time, while television stations from the surrounding area received a national license without any problems.
