The locals of Botun prepared a "welcome" for Vuković, who bypassed them from the opposite side of the bridge

The mayor of Podgorica, Ivan Vuković, was given a "welcome" at the opening of the Morača bridge by the residents of Botun, who are dissatisfied with the announced construction of a collector in their neighborhood.

"We gathered today quietly, peacefully, to show that we are there, this is only one small part, and there are more of us, we plan not to give up the fight against the collectors until death," said Jagoš Bećirović, a resident of Botun.

This time, Vuković bypassed the residents of Botun, approaching the bridge from the opposite side, however, he said that he suggested they meet, but that they chose to communicate with him from the street.

"I had the opportunity to meet with our fellow citizens, we agreed that our next meeting would be in Botun, so we were ready to go there, to answer all possible questions regarding the location of the future wastewater treatment plant, however until that meeting did not take place because they chose to articulate their views and attitude, I would say, towards the city administration in a way that is not quite appropriate, not to be praised," said Vuković.

The Southwestern ring road forms part of the traffic ring around the capital, the construction of which is planned, and Vuković also announced the construction of the boulevard from Donja to Gornja Gorica, i.e. Komanski most.
