The situation in the field of occupational health and safety in Montenegro is improving, but there are still many omissions and shortcomings.
Since the beginning of the year, seven serious injuries at work have been registered, and not a single fatality, said labor inspector Zlatko Popović, at the conference "How to safety and protection", organized by the Center for Investigative Journalism.
The problem is that Montenegro does not have an Institute for Occupational Medicine, and the list of occupational injuries has not been updated for 30 years.
