The holiday and intense heat also emptied the streets of Podgorica on July 13. Many kept their cool in houses and apartments, while others fled to the sea or the mountains.
Today, in the center of the Capital City, reporters from Television News met more foreigners than our citizens, and they didn't mind the high 38 degrees.
Meteorologists have been announcing since the weekend that a slight cooling and temperature drop is coming.
"In the capital in the following days, everything depends on how far we go when we say that the next days will be very warm and sunny at first. A slight drop in temperature will start from Friday. It will also be noticeable on Saturday and Sunday. There will be more pleasant temperatures. And on Sunday there is a possibility for some a downpour. So what more or less we all already wish for," said meteorologist Dušan Pavićević.
Although occasional instability is forecast, this will not affect the good weather on the coast, so tourists will be able to enjoy sunbathing, swimming and visiting tourist attractions without any problems.
