Although the members of the government and the opposition on the home parliamentary committee criticized him about 10 days ago for his approach and the wrong order of moves in the field of spatial planning, the Minister of Ecology, Spatial Planning and Urbanism Ratko Mitrović says that they do not understand enough about this work and that his resignation does not cross his mind.
After signing the Memorandum of Understanding with his Croatian colleague Darko Horvat, Mitrović said that he did not see a problem in the fact that the Government rejected his proposal for the head of the development of the Spatial Plan of Montenegro, because, he says, everyone has the right to their opinion.
The government recently rejected Mitrović's proposal to appoint Mirjana Nikolić as the head of the team for creating the Spatial Plan of Montenegro and reappointed Svetlana Jovanović, who was the solution of the former government.
It is also speculated that Mitrović is not on good terms with the Prime Minister and some members of the Government, and that the proposals coming from his department are viewed with reservations.
