Train drivers of the Railway Transport of Montenegro held a warning strike by stopping the trains for one hour, wanting to support their colleague against whom the Prosecutor's Office filed criminal charges because the train he was driving hit a woman in Bijela Polje.
They say that their colleague is not guilty because according to the Railway Safety Act it is strictly forbidden to walk on the tracks, and he could not have avoided the accident.
They were supported by the Minister for Capital Investments, Mladen Bojanić, while the prosecutor's office says that they only listened to the train driver, and that after the investigation and gathering of evidence, they will decide what to do next.
