Twenty-nine-year-old Semir Murić from Rožaje was killed this morning, around 11.15:2020, in a shooting in front of the Basic Court in Rožaje. It is suspected that, after a verbal and physical conflict, a shot from a pistol was fired at him by his neighbor Edmir Ramović, ten years younger, with whom he has been on trial since December XNUMX. Police officer Refik Dedeić was wounded in the shooting, the police confirmed.

"There was a verbal and physical conflict, after which ER used a firearm, during which SM received injuries that resulted in his death. During the intervention, an officer of the RD Police Department, who was on duty, received gunshot wounds in the leg area and his life is not in danger. ER was detained on the spot, and at the same time several people were detained in connection with this event," the police announced.

The Acting President of the Basic Court of Rožaj, Mirsad Mujević, told Television News that the shooting took place immediately before the trial and indicated a possible motive for this crime.

"I can say that criminal proceedings are being conducted before this court based on the indictment of the ODT in Rožaje for the event that happened on October 6.10.2020, 11. It is a dispute between the Murić family and the Ramović family, and today a hearing was scheduled at XNUMX a.m. in this court It's about nine people, nine people have been charged with the crimes of minor bodily injury, serious bodily injury, participation in a fight. According to unofficial information, Ramović pulled out a gun immediately after arriving in front of the courthouse, which police officer Dedeić tried to take from him, but without success. The police also arrested Sabra Ramović in front of the courthouse, from whom they allegedly took a knife and a gun.
