A significant increase in the sale of basic foodstuffs, traders expect new price increases

Large retail chains confirmed to Television News that in the last few days there has been a significant increase in the sale of flour, sugar and oil, which is explained by the fear of a shortage of these products due to the war in Ukraine.

Traders expect new price increases, while the Ministry of Economic Development says that at least a partial solution is the urgent adoption of the Law on Temporary Food Price Control and Excise Duty on Fuel, which the Government has already prepared.
