The Europol data, which indicate the connection between the police and the mafia, for now the opposition Democratic Front and the Democrats, are, they say, the final proof - who actually ruled Montenegro for the past three decades.
"This is an indicator of the general disintegration in the security sector, which apparently in previous years has completely merged with criminal clans and become stronger than the state," said one of the leaders of the DF, Milan Knežević.
"(We) got the final realization - who actually managed the country from the background for 30 years", according to Democrat MP Vladimir Martinović.
In the ruling Civic Movement URA, they point out that all this is a consequence of captured institutions.
"It is an indicator of what happens when any political system or government is petrified for several decades. It is impossible to protect institutions if the government does not change regularly," said MP URA Božena Jelušić.
However, the Democrats accuse Prime Minister Dritan Abazović that, as the coordinator of the security services, he kept silent about all this and link it to the formation of a new government. They remind that he was asked earlier what Ljubo Milović and Petar Lazović were doing in the police, but there were no answers.
"You also saw that the president of the Democrats, Aleksa Bečić, was also followed by these persons, and that is something that is worrying. On the other hand, today you have on the political scene of Montenegro that this illegitimate and unconstitutional government has just been formed with those who are the subject of these messages on SKY applications and the subject of these criminal conversations", said Martinović.
URE replied that the Democrats, by blocking the election of the new Prosecutorial Council, enabled Katnić to keep such cases in the drawer.
"We know that we were dealing with indictments that fell out of order. We could have discussed all this in the previous parliamentary majority, if there was both luck and common sense," says Jelušić.
The Democratic Party of Socialists (DPS) did not want to answer the question about responsibility for the creation of a system in which such affairs take place for Television News. In the Assembly, they called on the authorities to do their job, noting that the audio recording of the police officer Petar Knžević indicates contacts with parts of criminal groups.
"I believe that people who are engaged in certain work, especially officers of the Police Administration, ANB, should have their work and everything that appears in their work be subject to the work of competent judicial authorities, without our pressure," he said. DPS spokesman and MP Miloš Nikolić.
And Knežević, as the chairman of the Security Committee, has already called a session of that body for Friday, at which they will ask for a decision to be made on the control hearing of Abazović, police director Zoran Brđanin, chief special prosecutor Vladimir Novović and head of the Special Police Department, Predrag Šuković.
"I expect an express reaction from the head of the Police Directorate, and the chief special prosecutor, and for God's sake, Prime Minister Dritan Abazović, because he was the coordinator of all security services during that period, so it is necessary for him to answer the Montenegrin public whether he had access to these transcripts." , Knezevic said.
