The German global retail chain Lidl, whose arrival in Montenegro was announced at the end of last year, should open its first supermarkets in Montenegro in 2023.

Although they do not know how many workers Lidl should hire, they expect that his arrival will lower prices and that they will have local products on the shelves.
In the Chamber of Commerce, they fear for the placement of domestic goods, although they point out that competition would be stronger with the arrival of Lidl.
