63 students were awarded for their knowledge in mathematics, physics, chemistry, biology and programming

Let's infect young talented, smart children with the virus of science as soon as possible and lead them on the right path, said the dean of the Faculty of Science and Mathematics, Predrag Miranović.

This is also supported by high school student Mihailo Miladinović, one of the winners of the award for the achieved result at this year's Knowledge Olympiad.

In the conversation after the ceremony, he said that he wants to practice medicine and contribute to Montenegro, but also that people with knowledge are key to the progress of our country.

"I think that more focus should be placed on young people who have talent and that all possible means should be provided for them to improve, and that there is no need for them to go abroad. I think that they should stay in their own country , and to give progress to their country," said Miladinović.

That is why Miladinović says that he does not plan to go abroad, although he could.

"For now, my plan is to enroll in medicine here in Podgorica and most likely after specialization I will return here and continue my career here in Montenegro. Because I want to contribute to my country," the high school student points out.

The other award winners we talked to share the desire to improve their skills outside of our country. For them, Montenegro has a lot to offer, but they also emphasize the desire to further improve themselves outside of it.

"I will continue my training first in Montenegro, but of course I would like to expand further, further in the world," said elementary school student Anastasija Belada.

"Well, I would like to be here, but I would also like to go abroad, to see how it is in other countries. I am very happy to be the winner of the award and I would like to continue doing so, and I hope that in this way I will be able to contribute to the whole our society", also said primary school student Ljubica Vukanović.

At this year's Knowledge Olympiad, 63 elementary and high school students received diplomas and other prizes for the best results in the mathematics, physics, chemistry, biology and programming competitions.
