Residents of the Zeta village of Mahale and other settlements along the lower course of the Cijevna are dissatisfied with the construction of a new asphalt base near their houses.
Although, as they say, they have been suffering from clouds of dust, pollution and noise for years, they will not allow the construction of this facility.
They remind that those in charge have remained silent on their problems for years, and that if it remains so, they will act more radically.
The new facility being built near the asphalt base of the city company "Roads" sealed in March is particularly controversial.
In a statement to the daily newspaper Dan, the mayor of Podgorica, Ivan Vuković, reiterated that the sealed facility is only an attempt to obstruct the development of the Capital City, stating that the new base was built according to European standards and is less harmful to the environment.
The residents of Zeta do not think so, who unsuccessfully addressed numerous addresses in an attempt to relieve this area of so many asphalt bases.
