A quarter of Podgorica postmen are absent, the problem of real and imprecise addresses

The causes of late mail are the absence of postmen, but also imprecisely addressed shipments, said Vesna Boljević from the Post Office of Montenegro in Colors of the Morning.

She confirms that there were delays in certain areas, i.e. in Farmaci and Beri.

"Now there are street names in those neighborhoods, but the parcels are addressed to the neighborhoods, e.g. Beri bb. When there are no postmen who know the area and users, replacements need to learn from time to time," said Boljević.

Podgorica has 56 postmen, and as he says, at the moment 12 to 15 of them are absent.

"We do everything to find quality and responsible people. We have cases where new employees end their employment when they realize that they cannot meet their work tasks".

Boljević adds that the number of complaints is much lower in August, and that problems of this type are much easier to overcome in other cities where the number of users is much smaller.
