Although the heating season is just around the corner, many households that use pellets cannot get it yet.
That is why the Government limited the export of pellets at the end of last week, and State Secretary in the Ministry of Agriculture Budimir Mugoša, visiting Boja jutra, said that 20 percent of the total production meets the needs of the domestic market, which is why he believes that this measure will yield results.
In the Municipality of Pljevlja, where around 1.200 citizens use pellets for heating, they point out that only 285 citizens have purchased this type of firewood so far. They are worried about how the rest will be supplied, pointing out that 20 percent of the production is not enough for the needs of the local market.
In addition to Pljeval households, for whose needs, according to the municipality's estimate, about 5.000 tons of pellets are necessary, public institutions are also facing the problem of procurement, so if a solution is not found soon, the residents of the Pljeval Home for the Elderly will be heated with electricity this season .
