The planned installation of an anchor-type ski lift, as well as the installation of an artificial snowmaking system at the Kolašin 1600 Ski Center, will most likely not be completed by the beginning of this year's winter tourist season due to hacker attacks on the Government's website.
Nataša Pajović, assistant to the executive director of the Ski Resort of Montenegro, announced this in "Boja jutra" on TV Vijesti.
"The portal for public procurement was not functioning, so we are not sure if colleagues will be able to complete the planned project by the beginning of the winter tourist season", she pointed out and added that she hopes that the system for artificial snow will be completed next year.
Pajović says they are ready for snow and expect a great winter season.
"We hope that the snow will fall at the end of November. During the summer season, we had 75 percent more income compared to last year, and August was "shortened" by bad weather," she said.
They are currently preparing the trails and parking lot.
"The parking lot was expanded last year by 400 spaces, so we hope that the expansion of capacity will provide guests with an unhindered arrival at the Ski Center Kolašin 1600," said Pajović.
