Three years after the introduction of the non-working week in all shops in Montenegro, employers still hope that they can still reach an agreement with the social partners in order to change that legal solution.
The Government Department for Labor and Social Welfare says that workers must be provided with one free day per week, which was often not the case before the introduction of the non-working Sunday.
And while employers complain of large losses that are allegedly further exacerbated by the economic crisis, the inspection registers that they are less and less disciplined when it comes to banning work on Sundays.
