From December 30 to January 8, 239.240 passengers were registered at the entrance to Montenegro, and 247.899 at the exit from the country.
"The data show that the intensity of traffic at the border crossings was high, compared to previous years it is a higher figure, even over one hundred percent," said Slavko Vojinović, Chief Police Inspector in charge of the Border Police Sector of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, in Colors of the Morning.
In that period, the most passengers came to Montenegro from Serbia - about 29.000 of them, followed by 25.000 from Albania, about 15.000 citizens of Bosnia and Herzegovina, more than 10.000 citizens of Kosovo, about 7.000 citizens of Russia, 3.525 travelers from Germany and about 3.500 from Italy.
"The smuggling of four motor vehicles was prevented, five documents were discovered according to Interpol and the entry of nine persons was not approved," said Vojinović.
