Minister of Education Miomir Vojinović said that the educational process will not be lost by the fact that the start of the second school semester has been postponed for seven days.
"The school calendar has changed, but all days and classes will be made up," he emphasized in a guest appearance on Colors of the Morning.
He recalled that he said on Friday that the Ministry is fully ready for school to start today.
"After that, the Government session followed. I cannot agree with the statements that the educational process is on the sidelines, that it is being lost in this way when it comes to education and students," Vojinović said.
"I assure you, as far as the process is concerned, not a single day will be lost. Education in Montenegro is fully prepared to meet all challenges," added the Minister of Education.
When asked if the Ministry is ready if there is a measles epidemic, Vojinović said that he will be guided exclusively by what the institutions recommend and that he will organize classes in an adequate manner in cooperation with them.
"Is it online or another form of teaching, or God forbid we will be forced to close kindergartens, which we do not wish to happen," he said.
He emphasized that we have to listen to the voice of the profession.
"Now we need to tell the parents to take their children to get the MMR vaccination, that's the most important thing at this moment. Let us understand that it helps, so that the social process goes on without problems," said Vojinović.
