In the coming days, it is expected that the road Mojkovac - Đurđevića Tara will be open to traffic, and if this does not happen, a decision will be made to suspend traffic on that road.
This was said by Miroslav Mašić from the Ministry of Capital Investments as a guest in "Morning Colors" on Vijesti television.
He added that a project for the reconstruction of that locality had been completed, according to which four new galleries would be built on a length of 1,5 kilometers, and that this would solve the main problem of that road.
"The Traffic Administration is working on analyzing the problem and looking for the best solution to open that road to traffic. The best solution means that the safety of all road users is not endangered," said Mašić.
He emphasized that in case the route is closed, there are other alternative routes.
"It's not the best solution for the residents of that locality, but we have to keep in mind that traffic safety is the most important," said Mašić.
In response to questions about the quality of the roads in Montenegro, the professor of the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering, Boško Matović, said that "the roads are really good".
"If we talk about countries that are economically on the same level as Montenegro, when it comes to the quality of the infrastructure, the roads in Montenegro are relatively good," said Matović.
He added that local roads "can be at a higher or lower level depending on the work of the local self-government".
