SEC member from DF Milan Marović resigned

Milan Marović, a member of the State Election Commission from DF, has resigned from that position, it was confirmed to Television Vijesti.

Marović did this after a decision was adopted yesterday at the Commission's session that the SEC requests the Republic of Serbia Election Commission to provide them with data on whether one of the leaders of the DF, Andrija Mandić, and the leader of the "Europe Now" Movement, Milojko Spajić, exercise their right to vote and have a residence in Serbia.

Marović, who abstained during the vote on that decision, did not specify the specific reason for his resignation, which he submitted before Andrija Mandić officially submitted his candidacy for the presidency last night.

In his resignation, Marović thanked the members and employees of the SEC for fairness, but also the Movement for Change, which confirmed that he is an honest man and an experienced lawyer by nominating him for this position.

Another member of the SEC from DF, Miloš Giljen, who replaced Koča Đurišić yesterday, voted for the decision to send this request to the Serbian Election Commission, and the decision was supported by the representatives of DPS, SD and the Bosniak Party.
