After the Commercial Court was accused for years of assigning cases of higher value to privileged bankruptcy trustees, from January 18, bankruptcy trustees are chosen like judges - by random selection method, through the Judicial Information System.
The Acting President of the Commercial Court, Dijana Raičković, is satisfied with this decision and believes that it will finally put an end to the dissatisfaction of part of the public.
After the arrest of the former president of that court, Blaž Jovanić, another female judge ended up on the dock, while one candidate for judge was suspended until the end of the criminal proceedings, but Raičković says that, despite all the difficulties, they completed a large number of cases.
