In order to solve the accumulated problems in the prosecutor's office, the election of the supreme state prosecutor for a full term is awaited, and three candidates have been applied for that position.
Although a month and a half has passed since the competition, the Prosecutor's Council (TS) assures that it is on their priority list and that they will very soon schedule interviews and send their proposal of the VDT to the Assembly.
On the other hand, in the NGO sector, they say that there is no justification for waiting, and they also question some other disputed decisions of this body, among which is the one on the election of the current acting head of the VDT, Tatjana Begović.
The government representative in the TS hopes that the disputed decisions will soon come to an end.
