Despite the fishing ban and thermal cameras on Lake Skadar, poaching continues unabated.
The authorities say that they will hand over all the poachers' recordings to the police and the prosecutor's office from now on, and they claim that their actions have significantly reduced illegal fishing this year.
Armed with electric converters, accumulators, oars and gas cylinders used for catching fish, poachers on Lake Skadar do not care about the fishing ban.
The National Parks of Montenegro released new footage of poachers, who have not yet been identified, preparing for illegal fishing.
The National Parks also appeal to the citizens not to buy fish outside the market, because in this way they give indirect support to birders, and so far they have filed one criminal complaint for selling fish outside the market.
