Program Director of N1 Television Igor Božić said, in Vijesti at noon on Vijesti Television, that this morning's shooting at the Belgrade Elementary School "Vladislav Ribnikar" is a tragedy that has not been recorded in any educational institution in the capital of Serbia.
A KK student (14) was arrested, who is suspected of the attack.
Božić, who intervened from the scene, stated that, according to the official data so far, eight students and a guard who tried to prevent the massacre were killed. One teacher is in critical condition.
"You can see numerous police teams securing the scene of the crime... This kind of tragedy has not been recorded in a school in Belgrade," said Božić.
He said it was too early to talk about a motive for the attack.
"I assume that there will be a deeper psychological analysis of how something like this could have happened, that the boy in 2009 had a gun... It is better not to speculate and wait for official information," he said.
It is certain, as he said, that the parents, as well as the entire city, are in absolute shock. "Many did not know the fate of their children," said Božić.
