The leader of the Europe Now Movement (PES) Milojko Spajić said that the South Korean "cryptocurrency king" Do Kwon defrauded the company where he (Spajić) worked in 2018 for 75.000 euros.
"I know him well. He is a fraud," Spajić said in the final debate on Television Vijesti.
He said that neither he nor PES took a single cent from Do Kwon or anyone on the Interpol wanted list.
He said that he was accused without any evidence and called on Prime Minister Dritan Abazović and Interior Minister Filip Adžić to provide the public with evidence.
He also asked how they knew what was allegedly in the sealed material that was taken from Do Kwon.
He assessed that it was an unprecedented campaign and abuse of state institutions.
He said that he last met Do Kwon last year, but that as a natural person he could not know if he was wanted.
He explained that at the time of the meeting, it was not known whether Do Kwon had defrauded the company where he worked, or whether it was hacking or some kind of mistake.
Spajić said that Do Kvon was recognized by people from the crypto community whom he invited to Montenegro, that they informed him about it, and that he instructed them to report it to Adžić.
The holder of the "Together" list and acting president of the Democratic Party of Socialists (DPS), Danijel Živković said that the fact that Do Kwon and Spajić know each other means that the Special State Prosecutor's Office (SDT) would have to make an announcement as soon as possible for the sake of the integrity of the election process.
