The coalition "For the future of Zeta" is not giving up on canceling the decision on the recognition of Kosovo's independence in the Zeta parliament, said the leader of the Democratic People's Party, Milan Knežević.
He also says that the fact that they did not come to the session at the end of June where the initiative was supposed to be voted on has nothing to do with the negotiations on the formation of a new government.
They are still asking the Democrats to appoint a new president of the Zeta Municipal Assembly, instead of Luka Krstović, whom they accuse of obstruction. Krstović, on the other hand, has scheduled a new session for July 25, expects the boycott to end and says that the local parliament will adopt what is within its jurisdiction.
