Zenović: There is no danger of a new spill of waste water into Pržno, the crews will replace the valve

The sewage system in Pržno broke down yesterday, and waste water flowed across the beach into the sea.

The fault has been repaired, and disinfection will still follow.

"There is no fear of a new spill. Yesterday we took all the necessary measures to stop the leak as soon as possible. This morning, the teams on the ground will replace the valve that was the cause of the leak and the unfortunate event," said the company's technical director in Boje jutra on TV Vijesti Water supply and sewerage Budva, Boško Zenović.

He said that the environmental incident occurred yesterday due to the rupture of a non-return valve.

"These things cannot be predicted, unfortunately. The teams check the functionality of each station every day, especially in the height of the tourist season. The last check everything was fine," Zenović said.
