The red flag on the beaches is displayed precisely because of the visitors, and those who do not respect such warnings endanger their own safety and that of the lifeguards, said lifeguard Nikša Bojanić.
With only a few days of bad weather at sea, this season is going smoothly, says Bojanić, explaining why it is important to follow the indicated rules on all Montenegrin beaches.
According to him, there were no unpleasant situations this season on the Bečići beach.
"During the days of the storm, there were no cases of rescue of drowning people," he added.
Everything is under control, Bojanić points out, while the rescuers perform their work professionally, and tourists listen to their preventive advice.
Bojanic is only one of 670 lifeguards who take care of the safety of swimmers along the Montenegrin coast this season.
