The Agency for the Prevention of Corruption (ASK) will initiate proceedings before misdemeanor courts as well as administrative proceedings against deputies who perform another incompatible public function.
Of the 18 officials who had to declare by midnight which of the two incompatible functions they would perform, nine of them decided to continue sitting in two armchairs in violation of the law.
Prime Minister Dritan Abazović, URE Ministers Ana Novaković Đurovič and Filip Adžić, BS Ministers Admir Adrović and Ervin Ibrahimović as well as SNP Vladimir Joković and Dragoslav Šćekić remain in the Government and in the parliamentary benches.
Since midnight, the President of the Municipality of Kolašin, Vladimir Martinović, and the Municipality of Tuzi, Nik Đeljošaj, have been in the zone of violation of the law.
Đeljošaj told TV Vijesti that he is not in conflict with the law because the Law on the Prevention of Corruption is unconstitutional in this part, while the Constitution does not prohibit him from holding the office of deputy and president of the municipality at the same time.
TV Vijesti could not get a comment from Martinović.
