In the continuation of the investigation into the digging of the tunnel to the High Court in Podgorica, the Podgorica police are removing and examining video surveillance from the surrounding buildings in an attempt to identify all six suspects in the break-in to the court depot.
A source involved in the investigation told Television News that they are going in the right direction and that they believe they will find all the suspects, whom the police suspect are from the region.
This morning, "Vijesti" published photos of a woman and a man, who are suspected of being members of a criminal group that broke into the High Court depot and stole evidence from several cases.
The TV Vijesti source says that so far it has been ascertained that 17 pistols and two rifles were taken from the depot, which came from legally closed cases.
Investigators believe that those weapons were not the real motive for breaking into the depot, because it is illogical for someone to invest a lot of money for such a cheap operation, in which no money was spared, to get old rifles and pistols, but that the motive was something else , and it could eventually be revealed after the trials continue in the cases from which the evidence was stolen, and which have not yet been legally concluded.
At the same time, the police are also investigating the possibility that the people who dug the tunnel from the apartment in Njegoševa street to the court depot - had a map of the underground installations since they had a good sketch of the path where they should dig.
