The people of Podgorica and their guests will again have the opportunity to enjoy the New Year's Market in Podgorica after last year's break.
The Capital City announces that this year's market, from December 3 to January 15, will have a different concept compared to the previous ones, and will be organized in several locations, and not, as before, only on Independence Square.
The Secretariat for Local Self-Government in the Capital City is already preparing a tender for the allocation of houses at the New Year's Market.
"The tender will be announced on October 30 and will last until November 8. This year, the New Year's market will be from December 3 to January 15, with some four priority areas, namely tourism and catering with an emphasis on domestic products, then there will be also to be craftsmanship and manufacture, culture and sport and the fourth area of new technology," said Slađana Anđušić from the Secretariat for Local Self-Government.
Anđušić also announces that wooden houses, New Year's trees and lighting will not only decorate Trg Nezavisnosti.
"This year, the market will be in three locations, on Independence Square, Bećir Beg Osmanagić Square and St. Peter Cetinjski Square, and you yourself have seen from these priority areas that there will be new technologies, so we will do our best to content to be rich, to be different," said Anđušić.
Citizens also expect rich content.
As part of the winter event, local bands and performers will perform, and a children's program will also be arranged.
