Problems in the north of the country awaited the new Ministry of Energy and Mining, while Nikšić's Bauxite Mines are rarely mentioned in public. Insiders claim that it was too late and that the company Uniprom metals - bauxite was extracting bauxite quickly and against the rules, so the life of the mine was coming to an end.
Uniprom metal does not give precise answers, stating that investigative work is ongoing, but they note that they do not expect the ministry to change anything, but to respect the concession agreement, which is valid for another 20 years.
Montenegro again got a ministry that will also deal with mining. New minister Saša Mujović says that roses are not blooming in this area, but he promises results.
